To replace a text with another for every file in a directory:

grep -rl “ST2” ./ | xargs sed -i “s/ST2/Vim/g”

If you happen to be on a mac, the above will not work because the Sed in MAC is the BSD variant and not the GNU one. Solution:

grep -rl “ST2” ./ | xargs sed -i “” ”s/ST2/Vim/g”
